Sho-Bud Maverick 67-71 Baldwin Era – Black

HELP…I am no pedal steel expert so I will just state what I know. Traded in recently is this 10 string Sho Bud Maverick pedal steel. It shows to be an early one by the serial number. I looked it up and the numbers on some sites say they were lost serial numbers and another showing this is between 67 and early 71 called the Baldwin era. This has early Grover Pat Pending tuners and I have seen those alone sell for 300 to 450 and that was for 6. Those tuners were used on Martin and other brands back in the day making them collectable. This has 1 knee lever and 3 pedals. I have not had it set up and cant tell you what they do. It is tuned E9 and sounds incredible. All the pedals and the knee lever work but I will have to get one of my local steel players to tell me what they do. Im sure its had a few changes thru the years as it looks like some work was done underneath. I haven’t cleaned it in any way as I have been told not to by others on here. It comes with a hardshell case and will be professionally packed and fully insured as the carriers around here like to tear things up. Jezze! Stay posted for any updates in the next week or so.
