Kent DM-20 Crystal Microphone 60s – Aluminum

This is a vintage 1960’s KENT Model DM-20 Crystal Microphone. These Japanese models were nicely built, with a satin smooth aluminum casing, articulating head with on-off switch and a high impedance crystal pickup element. .The crystal tests with a good signal favoring mid-high frequencies with some low-end roll-off. (Sonically would make for an ideal harp mic.) The proper two pin connector to 1/4″ male phono plug. I suppose the previous owner used this as a harp mic because it has a short 1′ lead. Pick yourself up a longer cable that terminates to a 1/4″ female plug in any length you need and you are ready to go. This mic works great and is nice and quite. Will thread on to any mic stand.
