Gibson SG Standard 1972 – Cherry Red

This is a 1972 possibly early 73 Gibson SG Standard with a factory Gibson tremolo. I dated it by the pots as the serial numbers a kinda vague on the early 70s Gibsons. One possible changed volume pot on the treble side as it looks slightly different but I probably have an original pot somewhere if need be, I have thousands of old pots. The owner installed a vibromate on the bridge to make changing strings way more simple. That can be removed very easily if you would rather string it up the old fashion way. This one has the original tar back PAFs. Everything works great, no cracks or repairs. Has a little wear on the back of the neck where it sat in the case thru the years. Rosewood fingerboard with block mop inlays. Original frets with plenty of life left. The neck is a D shape, Not Beefy, just right. This baby on weighs a light 6 lbs. 5 oz.
