Gibson ES-355 TD Stereo 1970-75 – Cherry Red

This is a Gibson ES 355 TD, it is also the stereo version with the Vari-tone switch. This guitar is squeaky clean. It belonged to a recently deceased friend. His sister brought it in and asked me to sell it for her. He purchased the guitar new back in the day and she said he played it in a group called the Tams. It has a Maestro Tremolo. Im not sure of the exact year because the serial number shows that it could be 70-72 or 74-75. It says made in USA on the back of the headstock and it does have a volute making it 1970 or up…It has the factory shielding canisters on the pots so I would have to remove them to date it by the pot code. Too much hassle for me. Maybe someone can tell me more about it by the label. All I know is it is super clean and plays super easy. The frets are in great shape. The pickups are original and sound awesome. The neck is straight and the action is just right. Can be used with a stereo cable to split the pickups and send to 2 different amplifiers. It has the original case. I want it but simply cant afford it right now so here it goes. It does have some checking (cool to me) This guitar has very little playing time….EEEKKK….again…I want it….would you buy it for me???? Dang it….Here it goes…. USA only please I ship UPS insured.
