Ernie Ball Earhtwood 12 String Acoustic Guitar Uber Rare 70s – Natural

$3,000.00

This is one of the most rare guitars ever. I took a photo of this guitar back in early 2000s and made a trip to the NAMM show back then with the picture. I had done a lot of research on it as the case had a sticker saying Earthwood. I found Earhtwood guitars from the 70s along with bass guitars but I never could find a 12 string. I showed the picture to Ernie at that show and he said “I remember that guitar” He told me it was the most rare of the bunch because he only built one or two. He told me he worked with George Fullerton from Fender on the neck heel design. It has 3 screws under the wooden plate on the back much like the early 70s electric guitars. Ernie told me he would love to see it in person again but I never got the chance to meet up with him again as he sadly passed away a couple of years later. You can find a lot of images online of the bass guitars and a few 6 string acoustics but I cant find another 12 string like this. It looks like it had a label in it at some point but it is long gone. It has a maple neck with nice action. 25.5 scale length. Do your research online and you will in fact find that Ernie did work with George on these early acoustics.
