Fender SCN Noiseless Stratocaster Pickups Loaded Pickguard 1999 – White

This is a loaded pickguard in mint green with Fender Noiseless pickups. They say SCN on the covers. (hard to see in the photos) Not sure if this is the guard they came in but here is what I found online.

Came from a USA Deluxe Stratocaster, and we’re only offered by fender for a limited number of years, so they’re not as easy to come by as most of the other Fender pickups.

Work great, sounds great. Designed by famed guitar engineer Bill Lawrence. According to Fender they have a “special combination of traditional magnets and Samarium Cobalt” which were chosen for their tonal quality. I also read that Fender then designed their own version which Bill didn’t care too much for.

The pickguard is stamped 1999. Simply hook up the white lead from the volume pot to your jack and then your ground lead from the jack to the back of one of the potentiometers and you are ready to go.
