Fender 50s Vintage Custom Shop B Bender Telecaster One Piece Ash Body 1992 – Two Tone Burst

Just in is a guitar that my customer says he purchased from me way back in the early 90s. I simply don’t remember so I called Fender to run the numbers and they said their data only goes back to 93. I even ran the number online thru the Fender data base and it didn’t show on there either. So I opened up the neck pocket and the neck date was 91 and the body date was 92. It has all vintage style cloth wiring but I have no specs on it. It has the early B Bender a one piece ash body and a two tone burst. It has a nice beefy V shape neck that is nice and straight. Weighs 8 lbs 7 oz. Plays like a dream and sounds, well, like a spanky tele should. Bakelite guard. It has a tweed case and the original leather strap but all the case candy is gone. My friend went thru a divorce and half his paperwork disappeared. Go figure. This is a rare guitar. I have searched high and low on the web and cant find another one. Oh and he also changed the strap buttons to Schaller locking buttons that are gold. I will replace them with the original style or nickel Schallers. Let me know which you prefer. This guitar has very little playing time especially for a guitar over 30 years old and its super clean.
