Rickenbacker DW16 Console Steel Double 8 String LEFT HANDED 50s – Brown

Boy it took me a while to figure this out. Just traded in is this Rickenbacker console steel. It has two 8 string necks and it is LEFT Handed. I sat down to test everything and was confused. I have no idea if this is an original lefty or a conversion. I looked at pictures of others are then was really confused. Anyway. Here is what I do know. It has 2 8 string necks and a volume and tone control with a 3 way switch. Everything works great, two very desirable horseshoe pickups. Vintage original kluson tuners I believe. It has been refinished but heck it sounds great so maybe the audience wont see that because of the nice tone. Hee hee. Anyway it has 3 adjustable legs. Don’t ask about the tuning because I have no idea what they tune to. The customer said it had new strings but failed to tell me it was a lefty, and I didn’t notice or I would have asked more questions. Oh it also has its original hardshell case in good condition. Will be professionally packed and fully insured.
